Postgres Women
Postgres Women - Past, Present, Future
Postgres Women was created to encourage and support women to become active members of the PostgreSQL community and foster recognition of their contribution to PostgreSQL development. We firmly believe that by developing a community with a diverse field of contributors, PostgreSQL has an opportunity to truly become the most advanced open source database not only in technological standards, but also in terms of widespread and diverse community involvement.
Postgres Women is open to everyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary, and to their allies. You can be a Postgres Women ally by joining and supporting Postgres Women and our efforts.

Postgres Women is decentralized; there is no one group of organizers and no official hierarchy.
Postgres Women activities are up to individuals and groups who are interested in organizing them—if you have an idea, post it to the email list and the LinkedIn Group, and see who joins in to make it happen!
Events such as breakfasts, coffee socials, and informal gatherings are often as simple as putting in the proposal during a conference CFP, and confirming attendee numbers with the conference organizers.
Postgres Women India has an active presence in the community, including regular meetings and events, training sessions, and a mentorship program. You can find them at https://postgreswomen.in
